CSU Fullerton Sweeps the Key Art Awards

What an incredible night!

For the first time in the history of the Hollywood Reporter Key Art
Awards Student Competition, it was announced last night that Cal
State University Fullerton scored top honors taking home the
coveted first place awards in both trailer and print categories.

Out of 270+ poster entries students from across the United States,
this semester's 483G Entertainment Design course SWEPT up the
competition and took home 1st Place (Kerri Gaglioti – Dreamgirls)
2nd Place (Evan Fields – Knocked Up) and 3rd Place
(Vincent Yobeanto – 300).

For the trailer category, competing with over 100 entries from
AFI and film schools as far as Greece, Christian Hill's motion
graphics class student Dara Cornell also earned 1st Place for
her 300 trailer.

Congratulations to everyone who participated this year. It was
obvious that in a room of nearly 300 posters that the work
from Cal State Fullerton was by far the strongest. A special
thanks to everyone who encourages and mentors these amazing
artists each semester. Before you know it, the entertainment
design industry will be dominated by CSUF alumni.
