In spite of what Barry Manilow may say, yes, it does rain in Southern California! In fact, this week, it poured in a few selective locations...including above the Menagerie production table!
Even this bleakest of weather can inspire some of the most stunning key art designs. Great and useful posters for reference; rain is one of those difficult items to render digitally. And on a personal note, I love the rain and totally relate to Singing in the Rain most of all. It's a subtle reminder how insignificant we are compared to the power of mother nature. Living in this concrete jungle, it's nice to have that connectedness that is so often missing.
